The Comic Book Store book bags are 2.25ga thick polypropylene, and feature a 1-inch re-sealable flap that makes comic book archiving and storage easier than ever. Our boards are acid free and completely archival safe. (Please note that clearance books, Dollar comics, True Believers, Graphic Novels and odd-sized comics may not be bagged and boarded.)
Yes, we use single-use plastic bags and recycled bubble wrap to pack your orders.
Action figures, statues, and collectibles are shipped in the condition they were received from the manufacturer/distributor. While we guarantee there will be no defects on the product itself, the display box may have limited creases/dents from the shipping process, and we do not consider these to be defects. We provide a three-layer secured packaging. Action Figures, Statues and/or Collectibles are thoroughly secured in an external box filled with bubble-wrap and handed over to our delivery partners. Usually, there’s no shipping fee charged on these orders despite its weight. Action Figures and Statues may or may not ship in the original cardboard box our vendors shipped them in, but will have all original product packaging. All statues are opened to inspect for damages before shipping.

All of our comic books are brand new and in “Mint” condition. We do not directly sell used or second-hand books. You can buy or sell used or second-hand books, toys, statues, and anything related to comic or pop-culture through our completely free Marketplace.
We only allow up to 5 quantities of the same comic book. Since reselling these items without a proper license is a punishable offence, we’ve restricted the order quantity to a minimum. Please note, if you resell any product without a proper Resellers License issued by the governing authority, you open yourself to numerous lawsuits with severe implications and a hefty fine.

Refunds & Returns Policy
RETURNS & REFUNDS ARE NOT PERMISSABLE FOR COMICS AND/OR GRAPHIC NOVELS. EXCEPTIONS CAN ONLY BE MADE IN CASE OF MANUFACTURER DEFECTS, PRINTING ERROR OR DAMAGE IN-TRANSIT. PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE FOR THE SAME MUST BE PROVIDED & SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 MINS OF RECEIVING THE PRODUCT HERE.
For all other items, you have 3 days to request a return for your order from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Your item must be in the original outer packaging. However, if that is damaged, you may return in it a similar outer packaging. Please make sure to properly secure the contents inside before handing it over to the courier.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. If the invoice is torn or missing, a copy of it can be generated here.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your card (or original method of payment).
You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Selling on The Comic Book Store is easy. First, you list the products that you want to sell on our marketplace. Customers see your product and makes a purchase. You will receive a notification to keep the product ready for pickup. Our delivery executive will arrive to your registered address the next working day. Make sure the order is safely secured in the proper packaging and with the correct details. Please stick the SHIPPING LABEL on the front of the package and hand it over to the pickup executive. The Comic Book Store will deposit the funds directly into your bank account after successful order completion.

You don’t need a website to start selling on our marketplace. Once you complete registration, you will have access to our Seller Central platform using which you can list your products for sale on The Comic Book Store.
No. At this time The Comic Book Store marketplace allows shipments only within India.
If I list my products using Sell on The Comic Book Store, will the customer know that he or she is purchasing from me on the marketplace?
We will clearly indicate on our product pages that the product is sold by you. The Invoice / Shipping Label will also carry your name.
Fees and Charges
We charge you when you get an order. Listing on The Comic Book Store is free. We also provide our sellers with a country-wide reach and Cash on Delivery services. All you have to do is, pack the order! For all our services, we charge a small commission on every sale made. Refer to Pricing for more details.
No, there is no annual fee or subscription fee required to be paid for selling on The Comic Book Store.
You can stop selling at any time. Submit a request to cancel your account from the seller dashboard. Upon review, your account will be cancelled and all your dues cleared after deducting any arrears.
The Comic Book Store will disburse payments to your bank account once every 15 days (every 14 days in February). You will be eligible to get paid for the order 15 days after the order is confirmed as completed.
Managing your Account
You can use our Web-based interface to list products one at a time, or excel-based inventory files to list your products in bulk. The procedure and information required will vary depending on whether your products are already in the The Comic Book Store’s catalogue. Once you complete your registration for selling on The Comic Book Store, you will be guided on the steps needed to list your products.
Please note that currently it is mandatory to have ISBN/ bar codes to list on The Comic Book Store. If you are a manufacturer or do not have these, you can request for an exception by contacting seller support through your Seller Central account. Some product categories might require additional information to list your products.
You can view your orders and manage them through “Manage Orders” inside Seller Central (you will have access to seller.thecomicbookstore.in after your profile is approved for selling). Your orders will be fulfilled and shipped by The Comic Book Store.
Yes. The Comic Book Store helps you protect against fraudulent orders placed on your products and payment fraud.
Yes. Customers can leave feedback. Maintaining a high feedback rating is a critical factor for success on The Comic Book Store. It’s the best way for customers to identify you as a trustworthy seller. Your rating appears on the Product Page, under “Sold by” and is one of the first things that customers see. In other marketplaces, we have observed that customers are more likely to purchase products from sellers with higher ratings, think Amazon. Your feedback rating is a key metric used by The Comic Book Store to measure your performance.

Yes. If you are listing taxable goods, GST details are required to sell online. You need to provide GST number to The Comic Book Store at the time of registration. However, if you are selling only GST exempted categories (Books), then this may not be required. Note that if you start selling any taxable goods you need to register for GST as per GST laws and provide your GST number to The Comic Book Store.
However, if you’re selling second-hand/used items then you don’t require a GST number. It is still recommended to provide an original copy of the bill to the customer at the time of purchase.
Can I get help for capturing images and creating digital catalogues as per The Comic Book Store guidelines?
We have 3rd party providers who are trained on The Comic Book Store’s imaging and cataloguing guidelines and can assist you in creating high impact listings. They also have preferential rates and offers for The Comic Book Store sellers. You can contact them anytime through your Seller Central account once you complete registration.
You can buy The Comic Book Store branded packaging material through your seller dashboard and select the appropriate packaging material according to your packaging requirements.
